This is a picture of Yankee Stadium that I took in August of 2008. A group of friends and I went to see one of the final games at the old Yankee Stadium. Our seats were in the very last row. We were as high as we could go. I am afraid of being up high and it took me almost half the game before I felt comfortable. The game went 13 innings with the Yankees beating Kansas. Good thing - it would have been a quiet ride home if they had lost. This year we have 2 trips planned to see the Yankees in their new home. I am excited to see the new stadium but sad that they made the decision to give up the old one with all of its history.
